Nothing is designed today without a robust CAD platform. After many years trying multiple 3D Mechanical CAD systems we have settled on the latest offerings from SolidWorks. This package allows us to offer complete mechanical Part and Assembly level modeling services, as well as the creation of fully dimensioned mechanical detail and assembly prints, linked Bills of Material, and full structural analysis. For our clients, we can provide native SolidWorks files or convert into any number of lower level file types including STEP, IGES and STL.

CNC CAM Programming

Likewise, no CNC machine starts cutting metal without a robust CAM platform. Integrated with SolidWorks, we have been very pleased with AutoDesk HSMWorks CAM package which ties seamlessly into the modeling structure of SolidWorks. MechArtisan LLC assists clients at their own facilities and with their own CNC equipment by providing CNC programming services in production-oriented environments. We currently provide CNC programming for the following control packages:

  • Fanuc

  • Siemens

  • Centroid

  • Anilam

  • Mach 3/4

Industrial Controls

In addition to 3D Mechanical CAD design, MechArtisan LLC also provides 2D CAD services utilizing a traditional AutoCAD based CAD platform. We primarily utilize 2D CAD when providing industrial control design schematics to clients when involved in Automation programs.
